Who is Dr. Manjunath G?
I am presently Additional Labour Commissioner (Industrial Relations), Government of Karnataka. I hold a Ph.D. from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Master’s degree in Women’s Studies, M.A. in Economics, and B.A (Double Gold Medallist and First Rank holder) from Bangalore University.
As Statutory Appellate Authority under the PoSH Act 2013 and CEO of the Karnataka Platform-Based Gig Workers Social Security Board, I lead progressive labour law jurisprudence, dispute conciliation, and workplace gender justice across Karnataka.

Over my 28+ years of dedicated civil service, I have been awarded several national and international fellowships, including the RDW Fellowship from ILO, Geneva. My areas of specialization include the law relating to Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (PoSH), industrial relations and labour law jurisprudence, gig economy, social security, and corporate social responsibility.
In my statutory executive roles, I serve as the Appellate Authority under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 for the State of Karnataka, and as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Karnataka Platform-Based Gig Workers (Social Security and Welfare) Board.
